Chen Zhou Peony Chinese Painting Print – Rock Colorful Gongbi

The brushwork in this Rock Colorful Gongbi print stays with you after you look away. The piece has a meditative pull to it. It has the quiet luxury of the genuinely handmade. There is a natural harmony to the whole thing.

A crisp fine-art print on textured stock, sent flat and unframed for easy framing at home. The Chen is the soul of this print, plain and simple. The interplay of Zhou and background keeps the eye moving gently. Peony is the reason this print stays memorable. Painters chose the peony when they wanted to say wealth and honor without words.

It earns its place in minimalist Asian wall art by being interesting without being loud. As a piece of minimalist Asian wall art, it is the kind of gift people keep for decades. All told, this Rock Colorful Gongbi print delivers far more than its quiet surface suggests. As an unmounted painting core, it arrives flat and ready for your own framing or album mounting.
