Connie Converse | Giclee Print

Diana Hartman makes dreamlike, slightly surreal art where animals, plants, found objects, and a good sense of humor all seem to know each other. Based in San Francisco and a part-time member of the Artisans team, she also helps shape our First Friday art shows. The image centers on a character-driven scene with a musical, conversational feel, right in the sweet spot between charming and a little weird. There is enough weirdness in a character-driven scene with a musical, conversational feel to keep a wall interesting.
